What Is a Hybrid Beauty School?
The Virtual Beauty Academy™ through SASPRO is a flexible hybrid beauty-school option for students pursuing cosmetology, hairstyling, esthetics, or nail technology education. Students complete eligible theory coursework virtually and complete practical, hands-on training in the format required by their state.
A hybrid beauty school combines online or virtual academic instruction with supervised hands-on education. Beauty careers cannot be taught entirely online — students must still learn and demonstrate practical skills. However, many states permit some portion of beauty-school theory to be delivered through distance education.

Smith Academy of Salon Professionals is an accredited beauty school based in Huntington, West Virginia. Accreditation should not be interpreted as automatic authorization to deliver licensing education in every state.
Does SASPRO accept federal financial aid?
